What is the 2027 Corvette ZR1X?
The 2027 Corvette ZR1X is the hybrid all-wheel-drive ZR1 and, according to Chevrolet, the most advanced and most powerful Corvette ever: the 1,064-horsepower twin-turbo LT7 V8 drives the rear wheels, and a front electric drive unit adds 186 horsepower and 145 lb-ft, for 1,250 combined horsepower. It is sold as a coupe or a hardtop convertible in 1LZ and 3LZ trims.
Chevrolet calls the ZR1X a true American hypercar. Its eAWD system constantly monitors and adapts to available grip, and the car pairs the LT7 and the electrified front axle with adaptive front suspension. Carbon ceramic brakes with Alcon 10-piston front and 6-piston rear calipers and 16.5-inch rotors, the largest Corvette has ever used, are standard.

How fast is the 2027 Corvette ZR1X?
Chevrolet quotes 0 to 60 mph in 1.89 seconds and an 8.99-second quarter mile at 157 mph for the 2027 Corvette ZR1X with available equipment, and a top speed of 233 mph on a track. A ZR1X lapped the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 6:49.275 with GM's Drew Cattell driving.
The LT7 is a 5.5-liter DOHC V8 with twin turbochargers and a flat-plane crankshaft, rated at 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft, and the electric drive unit adds 186 horsepower and 145 lb-ft at the front axle, for 1,250 combined horsepower. Power reaches the road through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and Chevrolet's eAWD.
Electric tricks. Stealth Mode drives on electric power alone for 4 to 5 miles at up to 45 mph. Flying Start begins in Stealth Mode: press the throttle hard and the car goes from electric-only power to the full twin-turbo V8 and eAWD, more than 1,200 horsepower, Chevrolet says.
The $1,500 ZTK Track Performance Package adds ZTK suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires, and Chevrolet's configurator adds the $12,995 ZR1/ZR1X Carbon Fiber Aero Package with it: a high-wing spoiler, underbody strakes, a hood lip gurney and dive planes that Chevrolet says produce over 1,200 pounds of downforce, the most of any production Corvette. RPO PBC ($9,995) lets you hand-build the LT7 at the Performance Build Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The 2027 Corvette ZR1X shares the ZR1's aero body: a flow-through hood, large side air inlets with carbon fiber wishbone bezels, rear brake cooling ducts and standard carbon fiber side air intakes and ground effects. It is sold as a coupe with a visible carbon fiber roof panel or a hardtop convertible, in 10 paints with 5 wheel designs and 6 painted brake caliper colors, as of November 3, 2026.
Standard wheels are 20-spoke forged aluminum in Sterling Silver, with Edge Blue, Carbon Flash and bright machined finishes available, and 10-spoke visible carbon fiber wheels are $15,995. The $12,995 Carbon Fiber Aero Package adds the high-wing spoiler, underbody strakes, hood lip gurney and dive planes.

What is the 2027 Corvette ZR1X interior like?
The 2027 Corvette ZR1X cockpit has large customizable driver displays, and Chevrolet lists the Performance App, drive modes, an Enhanced Performance Data Recorder and Performance Traction Management among its technology. The configurator lists 28 interior color and seat combinations, as of November 3, 2026, including Santorini Blue, Very Dark Atmosphere and Jet Black Ultimate Suede.
The 1LZ comes with a visible carbon fiber roof panel, 8-way power GT1 or Competition Sport seats, a 10-speaker Bose system and a head-up display. The 3LZ adds the 14-speaker Bose Performance Series system, heated and ventilated Napa leather GT2 or Competition Sport seats with power lumbar and wing adjustment, a heated steering wheel with carbon fiber trim and shift paddles, sueded microfiber upper trim and two wireless phone chargers.
Jet Black Ultimate Suede comes with standard Sky Cool Gray stitching or optional Adrenaline Red, Competition Yellow or Santorini Blue stitching, and the coupe carries 9.1 cubic feet of cargo.
