What is the 2027 Corvette Stingray?

The 2027 Corvette Stingray is the starting point of Chevrolet's mid-engine Corvette lineup: a two-seat, rear-wheel-drive sports car powered by the next-generation LS6 6.7-liter V8, rated at 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque. It is sold as a coupe with a removable roof panel or a hardtop convertible, in 1LT, 2LT and 3LT trims.

Chevrolet says the LS6 delivers the highest torque of any naturally aspirated production V8 ever. It pairs a 100 mm stroke with a 13.0:1 compression ratio, the highest ever for a Corvette V8, and drives the rear wheels through a standard 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Stingray is the everyday Corvette. Chevrolet pitches it as a blend of performance, design and cargo space, and the same LS6 powers the 2027 Grand Sport and Grand Sport X. On chevrolet.com the Stingray starts at $71,300, against $86,300 for the Grand Sport and $121,800 for the Z06.

How fast is the 2027 Corvette Stingray?

Chevrolet rates the 2027 Corvette Stingray at 0 to 60 mph in as little as 2.8 seconds with the available Z51 Performance Package and lists an 11.0-second quarter mile at 124 mph. Chevrolet quotes a top speed of 200 mph on a track.

The LS6 is a next-generation small-block V8: 6.7 liters, a 100 mm stroke, a 13.0:1 compression ratio and a new continuously variable oil pump that Chevrolet says keeps oil pressure right in all conditions. Its 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft reach the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission that Chevrolet says shifts with the smoothness of an automatic and the control of a manual.

The Z51 Performance Package is the track upgrade. For $5,395 it adds Z51 Brembo brakes with 4-piston monobloc calipers, Z51 performance suspension, a 5.56 rear axle ratio, an electronic limited-slip differential, a Z51 front splitter and rear spoiler, heavy-duty cooling and Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 summer-only tires, 245/35ZR19 front and 305/30ZR20 rear. Chevrolet says Z51 is required for track use, and its 2.8-second 0 to 60 time is quoted with it.

Magnetic Selective Ride Control 4.0 is $1,895 on its own or $1,895 with the Z51 suspension; Chevrolet says it reads the road every millisecond and adapts in as little as 10 to 15 milliseconds. The $2,995 front lift raises the nose about 2 inches in under 3 seconds at up to 24 mph and remembers up to 1,000 GPS locations.

What does the 2027 Corvette Stingray look like?

The 2027 Corvette Stingray keeps the mid-engine shape Chevrolet introduced for 2020, sold as a coupe with a removable roof panel or a hardtop convertible whose power roof lowers in 16 seconds at up to 30 mph. Buyers choose from 10 paints, 6 factory wheel designs and 4 painted brake caliper colors, as of November 3, 2026.

The Z51 package adds its own front splitter and rear spoiler, a quad center exit exhaust is $1,995, and the $750 Stingray R Appearance Package adds a black center hood stripe, Stingray R side graphics and center caps. A visible carbon fiber roof panel is $2,595 and stores in the rear trunk when it is off. Wheels run from the standard 5-split-spoke Pearl Nickel forged aluminum set to forged designs priced up to $1,995 on the Chevrolet configurator.

What is the 2027 Corvette Stingray interior like?

The 2027 Corvette Stingray cabin surrounds the driver with three screens: a 12.7-inch center display, a 14-inch Driver Information Center and a 6.6-inch touchscreen auxiliary display. Chevrolet's configurator lists 28 interior color and seat combinations, as of November 3, 2026, across three seat designs: GT1, GT2 and Competition Sport.

The 1LT comes with 8-way power GT1 seats with Mulan leather seating surfaces, a 10-speaker Bose system, a wireless phone charger and an HD Rear Vision Camera with Rear Camera Mirror. The 2LT adds the 14-speaker Bose Performance Series system, heated and ventilated seats with power lumbar and wing adjustment, the Performance Data Recorder, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert and a head-up display. The 3LT adds GT2 seats with Napa leather, a custom leather-wrapped instrument panel and doors, sueded microfiber upper trim and a choice of 14 interior colors.

Chevrolet's Performance App shows live horsepower and torque graphs, and the Performance Data Recorder captures video and data from a drive. Suede, leather and carbon fiber accents are available, and the coupe carries 12.6 cubic feet of cargo.
