What is the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport?
The 2027 Corvette Grand Sport pairs the next-generation LS6 6.7-liter V8 (535 horsepower, 520 lb-ft of torque) with the wider body, aerodynamics and track-focused features of the Z06, according to Chevrolet. It is rear-wheel drive and naturally aspirated, and it is sold as a coupe or a hardtop convertible in 1LT, 2LT and 3LT trims.
Chevrolet says the Grand Sport hits the sweet spot between everyday drivability and track-ready engineering. Its wide body carries an integrated rear spoiler and wide side air inlets, and the LS6, with a 100 mm stroke and a 13.0:1 compression ratio, drives the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The name goes back to 1963. Chevrolet says the original Grand Sport was a secret lightweight race car, and only five were built before the program was halted. The name returned in 1996, became a permanent model in 2010 and was last offered for 2017. The 2027 car follows the same recipe: the standard Corvette V8 in the wider body.

How fast is the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport?
Chevrolet rates the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport at 0 to 60 mph in as little as 2.75 seconds and the quarter mile in 10.95 seconds at 124 mph. Its LS6 V8 makes 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque, which Chevrolet says is the highest torque of any naturally aspirated production V8 ever.
Standard hardware already leans toward the track: Grand Sport touring suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control and Performance Traction Management, and Brembo brakes with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear monobloc calipers. A quad center exit exhaust is $1,995 on its own.
Z52 packages sharpen it. The $3,500 Z52 Sport Performance Package adds performance brakes with 14.6-inch front and 15-inch rear rotors and 275/30ZR20 front, 345/25ZR21 rear high performance tires. The $20,695 Z52 Track Performance Package adds carbon ceramic Brembo brakes with Dark Gray Metallic calipers, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires, the quad center exit exhaust and the Carbon Flash carbon fiber aero package.
That aero package, $8,995 as a separate option, adds a high-wing spoiler, dive planes, a front splitter and rockers in Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber, and Chevrolet's configurator adds the Z52 Sport package and carbon ceramic brakes with it. The carbon ceramic brakes ($6,000) use 15.7-inch front and 15.4-inch rear rotors.

The 2027 Corvette Grand Sport has a sculpted wide body with an integrated rear spoiler and wide side air inlets, exclusive badging and available heritage center stripes and fender hash marks. It is sold as a coupe with a removable roof panel or a hardtop convertible, in 10 paints with 11 wheel designs and 6 brake caliper colors, as of November 3, 2026.
Grand Sport Heritage Graphics (RPO Z15) add quarter-panel hash marks in Blade Silver, Admiral Blue, Competition Yellow, Torch Red, Carbon Flash or Red Mist, at no extra charge on the configurator. Chevrolet made four wheel finishes exclusively for the Grand Sport lineup, all 10-spoke forged aluminum, 20-inch front and 21-inch rear: standard Pearl Nickel, Gloss Black, Bright Polished, and Carbon Flash with a bright polished face. Carbon fiber wheels run up to $15,500.

What is the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport interior like?
The 2027 Corvette Grand Sport has a driver-focused cockpit with three screens: a 12.7-inch center display, a 14-inch Driver Information Center and a 6.6-inch touchscreen auxiliary display. Chevrolet's configurator lists 29 interior color and seat combinations, as of November 3, 2026, including the Launch Edition's Santorini Blue Dipped interior.
Chevrolet offers four seat setups. GT1 seats in Mulan leather are standard on the 1LT and 2LT; GT2 seats with carbon fiber trim, a seatback halo and Napa leather are available on the 2LT and standard on the 3LT; Competition Sport seats pair Napa leather with performance textile; and a driver Competition Sport seat with a passenger GT2 seat comes only with the Asymmetrical Adrenaline Red or Asymmetrical Santorini Blue interiors.
Grand Sport Launch Edition (RPO Z25, $1,995). Offered only on the first 2027 cars, it adds a Santorini Blue Dipped interior with Torch Red accents and special quilting, Torch Red seat belts, embossed headrests, floor mats with a Corvette silhouette and a waterfall badge interior plaque.
The 1LT has a 10-speaker Bose system, a wireless phone charger and an HD Rear Vision Camera with Rear Camera Mirror. The 2LT adds the 14-speaker Bose Performance Series system, heated and ventilated seats, the Performance Data Recorder, a head-up display and blind-zone alerts, and the 3LT adds a leather-wrapped instrument panel and doors, sueded microfiber upper trim and 14 interior colors.
