What is the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport X?
The 2027 Corvette Grand Sport X is the hybrid all-wheel-drive version of the Grand Sport, according to Chevrolet: the 535-horsepower LS6 6.7-liter V8 drives the rear wheels, and an electric drive unit adds 186 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque at the front wheels, for 721 combined horsepower. It is sold as a coupe or a hardtop convertible in 1LT, 2LT and 3LT trims.
The Grand Sport X shares the Grand Sport's wide body, integrated rear spoiler and heritage options, and Chevrolet says its all-wheel drive improves control across a wider range of conditions. A 1.9 kWh lithium-ion battery feeds the front motor and recharges as you drive.
It is the quickest LS6 Corvette. Chevrolet rates it at 0 to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds and the quarter mile in 10.4 seconds at 131 mph, against 2.75 seconds and 10.95 seconds for the rear-drive Grand Sport. Chevrolet rates the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport X at 0 to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds and the quarter mile in 10.4 seconds at 131 mph. Its LS6 V8 makes 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft, and the front electric drive unit adds 186 horsepower and 145 lb-ft, for 721 combined horsepower.
Carbon ceramic Brembo brakes are standard on every Grand Sport X, along with Grand Sport X touring suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Chevrolet lists all-season tires among its performance features, and the $500 Sport Performance Package adds 275/30ZR20 front and 345/25ZR21 rear high performance tires.
Two electric-only modes. Stealth Mode drives on electric power alone for 4 to 5 miles at up to 50 mph, so you can leave home quietly. Shuttle Mode uses only the electric motor below 22 mph to move the car around a driveway or into a garage; Chevrolet says it is not for public roads, and the engine will not start until the car is restarted.

Grand Sport Heritage Graphics (RPO Z15) add quarter-panel hash marks at no extra charge on the configurator. The four 10-spoke forged wheel finishes made for the Grand Sport and Grand Sport X are 20 inches in front and 21 inches in the rear: standard Pearl Nickel, Gloss Black, High Polished, and Carbon Flash with bright polished surfaces. What is the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport X interior like?
The 2027 Corvette Grand Sport X has a driver-focused cockpit with three screens: a 12.7-inch center display, a 14-inch Driver Information Center and a 6.6-inch touchscreen auxiliary display. Chevrolet's configurator lists 29 interior color and seat combinations, as of November 3, 2026, including the Launch Edition's Santorini Blue Dipped interior.
Chevrolet offers four seat setups. GT1 seats in Mulan leather are standard on the 1LT and 2LT; GT2 seats with carbon fiber trim, a seatback halo and Napa leather are available on the 2LT and standard on the 3LT; Competition Sport seats pair Napa leather with performance textile; and a driver Competition Sport seat with a passenger GT2 seat comes only with the Asymmetrical Adrenaline Red or Asymmetrical Santorini Blue interiors.
Grand Sport Launch Edition (RPO Z25, $1,995). Offered only on the first 2027 cars, it adds a Santorini Blue Dipped interior with Torch Red accents and special quilting, Torch Red seat belts, embossed headrests, floor mats with a Corvette silhouette and a waterfall badge interior plaque.
The 1LT has a 10-speaker Bose system, a wireless phone charger and a head-up display. The 2LT adds the 14-speaker Bose Performance Series system, heated and ventilated seats, the Performance Data Recorder, blind-zone alerts and an HD Curb View Camera, and the 3LT adds a leather-wrapped instrument panel and doors, sueded microfiber upper trim and 14 interior colors.
