Maintenance Schedule

GM Certified Corvette Service Keeping your Chevy Corvette running at is best shouldn't be that complicated, and there shouldn't be any guesswork involved.

Let our advanced technology and understanding of your Corvette make maintenance simple for you. All you have to do is pay attention to one thing: your GM Oil Life Monitor (found on most GM vehicles after 2004). Ross Downing will do the rest. Your Ross Downing Certified Service technician will perform a Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection and take care of any maintenance your vehicle needs at that point. Common services include:

  • Brake Service
  • Oil Change Service
  • Tire Service
  • Auto Repair service (engine, transmission or any key operating system)
  • Collision repair and auto body repair (collision damage, dings, scratches, dents, rips, tears)
  • Fuel Efficiency
  • Filters, fluids, and much more

That's it. That's Certified Service Simplified Maintenance. Following this simple schedule maximizes your convenience by potentially reducing your trips to the service lane. Plus, it can help maintain your vehicle's performance and reliability, help improve fuel efficiency and reduce oil waste.



GM Goodwrench Maintenance

When you bring your Corvette to Certified Service for regular maintenance, we will likely perform one of two service packages - conveniently called Maintenance I and Maintenance II. We perform only the services that you need, depending on your current mileage and what services we did on your previouis visit. It's a lot like the dentist. Your dentist reminds you when to come in (just like your Oil Life System, if equipped) and keeps track of what work you need done every six months. Except when you visit Ross Downing, there is absolutely no pain involved.

GM Maintenance Service Package I
  1. Perform when Change Engine Oil light comes on or within 10 months since vehicle was purchased.
  2. Perform when Maintenance II was the last schedule used.

During Maintenance I the following service are performed:

  1. Change the engine oil and filter
  2. Reset oil life system
  3. Inspect engine air cleaner filter - replace as needed
  4. Rotate tires and check inflation pressures and wear
  5. Inspect brake system
  6. Check engine coolant and windshield washer fluid levels - add fluid as needed.
  7. Perform any needed additional services

GM Maintenance Service Package II
  1. Perform when Maintenance 1 was the last schedule used.

Maintenance II includes everything in the Maintenance I package plus the following additional items:

  1. Inspect suspension and steering components
  2. Inspect the engine cooling system
  3. Inspect the wiper blades
  4. Inspect restraint system components
  5. Lubricate body components
  6. Inspect the throttle system
