Six Generations of Performance

Sixty years of Chevy innovation has made Corvette the sales leader in the high-performance sports car segment, and for good reason. Its legendary LS3 engine provides awesome performance balanced by remarkably good fuel economy. State-of-the-art technology brings its heritage firmly into the twenty-first century, and a host of personalization options allow you to create a 2013 Corvette that is uniquely yours.

This is the last of the C6 Generation. And you better believe the Corvette is going out in style.

Corvette’s heritage is a proud one, and sixty years is quite a milestone! In celebration, Chevrolet presents the 60th Anniversary Appearance Package, available on all 2013 Corvette models. The package includes an Arctic White exterior and a Blue Diamond leather-wrapped interior, an optional graphics package with full-length racing stripes in Pearl Silver Blue, gray-painted brake calipers, a ZR1 rear spoiler and 60th Anniversary badging on the steering wheel, seat head restraints and wheel center caps.

Exterior Features

The exterior design for the final production run of the C-6 Corvette continues to incorporate elements that have been the foundation of its unmistakable contours since its introduction sixty years ago, including its classic rounded fenders and lean, grounded body frame.

A removable roof panel is standard, or you can opt for an available transparent roof panel. A Dual Roof Package is also available, allowing you to alternate roofs. The panels store in the rear cargo area, leaving plenty of space for additional items.

Interior Features

The interior of the 2013 Corvette has been upgraded with larger seat bolsters for additional driver support under demanding or high-performance conditions, and optional microfiber seat inserts for added comfort. The steering wheel design has also been refined for better hand placement and comfort.

The interior has also been softened with additional padding on the center console and armrests, and contrasting color stitching – available with the Custom Leather-Wrapped Interior Package on the 4LT trim level – provides a feast for the eyes. The extra graphics included on the 60th Anniversary Edition Coupes are also a special touch, adding new anniversary logos to the leather seats as well as a new sill plate cover and steering wheel graphics.

The Corvette Coupe and Convertible come standard with the LS3 engine…a 6.2L aluminum-block V8. This powerhouse cranks out 430 horsepower, reaches a top speed of 190 mph and blazes from zero to sixty in a mere 4.2 seconds. There are muscle car V8's, and then there's the LS3 - truly in a class of its own.

Keeping all this power in touch with the road is Corvette’s Magnetic Selective Ride Control with two settings – Tour and Sport. This microprocessor-controlled suspension system applies electrical current to the ferrous particle-infused shock fluid, increasing and decreasing the stiffness of the shock’s damping in immediate response to road conditions.

Launch Control, a feature designed for those who compete in club-sanctioned closed-course track events, is also standard in the 2013 Corvette with the six-speed manual transmission. This feature modulates engine rpm in competitive mode for smooth power transfer and consistent acceleration.

Coupe Technology

Corvette’s Technology Package, standard with 2LT trim and up, incorporates popular features such as navigation radio, head-up display, Bose premium audio system, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth wireless technology and a USB port.

The Head-Up Display projects onto the front windshield, keeping the driver informed of speed, direction, turn-by-turn navigation directions and even g-force…while both eyes stay on the road.

On the outside, rust-free composite body panels are stronger and lighter than traditional materials, increasing Corvette’s durability, power-to-weight ratio and performance potential.
Navigation System
With all that intense action on the road, you'll definately wanna make sure those in-car phone calls are hands-free. Available Bluetooth wireless calling means you can stay focussed on pushing your Vette to the max while answering phone calls with a tap of the steering wheel.
Available with some Bose sound systems is touch-screen navigation - the ultimate touch of luxury that you've come to expect from the sports car leader. With power under the hood and navigation within your reach, you'll never look at muscle cars the same way again.   The most advanced in-vehicle assistance technology ever conceived is inside every Corvette Coupe. Best of all, you get a free six-month subscription of the Directions & Connections Plan.

Coupe Safety Features

When it comes to safety, nothing beats prevention. That’s why the 2013 Coupe incorporates features such as Active Handling and four-wheel antilock brakes. But there’s far more to the safety story for Corvette. The standard xenon high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps project 900 lumens of light onto the road ahead for superior visibility, and Corvette’s run-flat tires can operate safely for some distance at moderate speed, allowing you to continue on your way until the tire can be repaired.

Front and side-impact air bags help protect occupants in case of a collision, and OnStar with Directions & Connections and Automatic Crash Response will contact OnStar even if you can’t, sending emergency services to your exact GPS location. These OnStar services are standard on Corvette for the first six months.
