When it comes to Corvette, heritage is much more than a word…it’s a way of life. That’s why the 2013 Corvette Convertible incorporates exterior design elements that have been hallmarks of the nameplate since its introduction, including its classic rounded fenders, sleek profile and lean, grounded body frame.

Drop the top on your 2013 Corvette Convertible, and its timeless design cues are accented even further. A manual top is standard, or you can opt for the power top that lets you “raise the roof” in only 18 seconds…without leaving the driver’s seat. And there’s still plenty of trunk space even with the top down.

Refinements to the steering wheel design provide better hand placement for increased control, and added padding on the center console and armrests ups the comfort factor even more. There is also a Custom Leather-Wrapped Interior Package available on the 4LT trim level that features contrasting color stitching for additional eye appeal.

Throw the top back from the comfort of your seat and rule the road. The best part about the interior of the Corvette Convertible is that with the available power top, you never have to leave its comfort.

Convertible Safety Features

Nothing beats prevention when it comes to safety. With this in mind, Chevrolet engineers incorporate features into the 2013 Corvette Convertible like Active Handling and four-wheel antilock brakes, but that’s just the beginning. Standard xenon high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights project 900 lumens of light for superior visibility, and run-flat tires can operate safely for some distance at moderate speed, so you can continue on your way until the tire can be repaired.

In case of a collision, front and side-impact airbags help protect Corvette’s occupants, and OnStar with Directions & Connections and Automatic Crash Response will alert an OnStar advisor automatically, so emergency services can be dispatched to your exact GPS location. These OnStar features are included as “standard equipment” on the 2013 Corvette Convertible for the first six months of ownership.

The Head-Up Display projects onto the front windshield, keeping the driver informed of speed, direction, turn-by-turn navigation directions and even g-force…while both eyes stay on the road.
